These are the inner bumper brace that is in the inside of bumper on the lower part which attaches to the lower frame bolts. It is for extra strength and is a filler / spacer . These are a copy of the OEM part. It comes painted satin black. We offer two different ones . The 1939 and 1940 front bumpers were just a slight curve which in 1941-1947 Dodge made a change in there style of grilles . So 1941-1947 they stamped the front bumpers with a step or bump out which followed the shape of the new designed grille.
